I bought this device based on a recommendation from a Twitter group I follow. I looked at several other Bluetooth thermometers and concluded that this one offers the best overall performance I was looking for. Upon receipt I connected it to the charger and it immediately charged to full battery capacity. The app he uses shows the battery level, so there's no guesswork. I used all 4 probes at the same time while cooking the ribeye and was able to monitor the core temp while I was in the house. I was surprised by the Bluetooth range. I made a back roast so I can treat each steak separately, which is very important when doing a back roast. This unit is waterproof, which is what I wanted just in case. The only downside is that the USB port cover doesn't close completely, so there's a chance of water getting inside the port when left in the rain. Overall I am very happy with this Inkbird and would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to use, handy thermometer.
