Works as expected, even in the rain!

I used the IBT-4XC waterproof thermometer the same day I received it and the next day. I smoked venison sticks I made from deer I caught last October and it rained both days I smoked them. I attached the monitor to the smoker with a magnet, attached some meat probes and ran them over some sticks. I then lit the grill probe and attached it to the grate with one of the clamps that came with it. I was able to monitor the temperature in my living room with the bbq go app and set alarms for the…

Excellent functionality and Bluetooth range

I bought this device based on a recommendation from a Twitter group I follow. I looked at several other Bluetooth thermometers and concluded that this one offers the best overall performance I was looking for. Upon receipt I connected it to the charger and it immediately charged to full battery capacity. The app he uses shows the battery level, so there's no guesswork. I used all 4 probes at the same time while cooking the ribeye and was able to monitor the core temp while I was in the house. I

Nice looking well built thermometer

I used a 6 probe Inkbird thermometer last year and was very happy with it. I am currently installing a smoker at my campsite and wanted another one as I know its reliability, accuracy and long battery life is what I need. sounds comfortable, as does the magnetic back of the case. I won't be using it in the rain but it's nice to know that if I get caught it can handle it! Works great - thermometer and timer

Just to be transparent I got this device for free in exchange for a review. However, I've been impressed with Inkbird products in the past, so I decided to give it a try. We definitely need a new flesh probe. The temperature seems accurate. I set it to medium steak (130F) and the steak was actually cooked to medium. A definite improvement on an already great device

I've been happily using another very similar Inkbird model (IBT-4XS) for a little over a year. This replaced my ThermoPro TP-08S and was better in every way. On a sunny day or for indoor use, my XS is great, but I smoke a lot, always outside and I don't have a covered area. . We get a lot of pop-up showers here, and long boils make any outdoor electronics vulnerable. This waterproof model is exactly what I needed. Same benefits as XS: - very accurate right out of the box, only varies by 1* on 1

Easy to use. Accessible and accurate.

I bought this and it arrived the next day. I fully charged it in about 3 hours. I have read the instructions and downloaded the BBQ GO app. and after a few minutes the device was paired and running. I installed it in my Traeger Pro 575 smoker because the thermometers built into the grill don't seem to be accurate.
