Something's changing with the Caron One Pound - or I've got a weird strand. The texture of the skein I received was nothing like Caron One Pound I've bought in the past. It's like they put a pound of Caron Simply Soft on the Caron One Pound label. Texture, thickness and sheen were not typical of Caron One Pound. I will be very disappointed if all Caron One Pound skeins are like this in the future. I had to change the number of stitches to compensate for the difference in yarn count. I hate working with Caron Simply Soft and now I'm stuck with a pound - I'm trying to call myself Caron One Pound. So I'm very disappointed.
