I saw a demonstration on YouTube. The man cut several brands of filters in half to show the materials and construction. My swap to a Fram oil filter was one of the worst I have ever encountered. Wix was one of the best K&N products from Wix and later Motorcraft. I watched that on YouTube. Take what's worth!
