It's wool so I was wondering how it would feel to walk on it. Feels great on feet. The colors are beautiful, it's well made, it feels good on our feet and despite coming out of the shower it seems to disperse water well - it never felt wet. I plan to buy many more rugs from this company. As for the negatives - bad smell, dirt, hair loss - ours was clean, smelled like natural wool if it smelled like anything, and was perfect when I unrolled it. No shedding at all. It may need a rubber pad if it's on a slippery smooth floor. Ours is on top of the tile and it moves a little, so I just slide it away. I could put something underneath but so far it doesn't bother at all, but the mat could last longer with one.
