This board fully meets my requirements. It has very good USB performance, especially for special low-latency interface applications. It has a great layout, good documentation, and customizable BIOS. It has excellent dual-channel storage bandwidth, and the m.2 drive layout is good for airflow, and one of the m.2 slots comes in handy if you switch drives fairly frequently. I'm not a gamer at all and I'm happy to report that this isn't one of those boards that delivers video performance at the expense of all other I/O. Just a little different marketing and it's a technical/scientific abacus. Even additional features like RGB lighting can be useful on this board and used as a temperature gauge. The built-in digital audio is quite good, but not quite professional. The good news is that the audio device can be turned off completely. Also, there is no built-in Wi-Fi on the board, which is good for my application as I want to avoid the potential interference caused by having a high frequency radio on the motherboard, which many consumers don't think about. It's a good board and I'm a little sad that I'm probably seeing the last production batches of a family of motherboards being discontinued soon if they haven't already.
