I am new to knitting and started with a circulation pump from my local craft store. Needless to say the cord was very tight and tangled on itself. It was very frustrating. But this set is perfect! The cord is thick enough that you don't have to worry about it snapping, but it's still very flexible so it moves as you knit and doesn't twist or twist. In fact, I bought the entire Knitter's Pride replacement set and I love it. I recommend this brand to anyone who knits.
