Review on Precision Thin Rip Jig: Efficient Table Saw Accessory for ๐Ÿ”ช Accurate Narrow Strip Cuts on Table Saws, Router Tables, and Band Saws by Mark Harrison

Limited range, you may not be able to cut thin strips of wood on a band saw

This is a good tool for safely and predictably cutting thin strips of wood on table and band saws. There's nothing stopping you from making these cuts without a jig, but you do have to keep pushing the wood against the fence as you feed it, which can be a bit error-prone when using pushers. This gizmo makes your life a little easier. However, what is not mentioned is that the device has a fairly limited extent from the slot in which it resides. Blade making it impossible to cut thinner strips. Since the 1/2" probably doesn't need a jig at all, this made the tool almost useless for me. I had to cut out part of the aluminum body on the back to give it a little more travel.
