We renewed the mattress on Murphy's bed in the RV, but it was more difficult to fold the bed back in until we drilled another hole like this original pinhole for attaching Murphy's bed. Using only 1 pin is very taxing so we drilled another hole identical to the original but on the other side of the top storage cabinet and used this 3" cotter pinless clutch pin to drive it into the wood of the storage cabinet put. and at the bottom of the bed frame. Works great! I've searched every campground looking for a replacement pen to no avail, but this one was a great way to improvise and is just as good as the one that came with the kit. Camper!
