Review on CHICAGO Kids Adjustable Quad Roller Skates: Fun and Safety in One! by Todd Foster

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cute but gotta grease the wheels

I had a pair of Chicago skates as a kid and just needed to change the wheels so I was really excited to see they have adjustable skates for my 5 year old old! Instead of buying skates every 6 months, we can just adjust the size. Haven't tried fitting it yet, they're a bit big at the moment (barely) so they fit fine now. They are relatively easy to put on and take off, the buckle closure can be tricky for little fingers as it's a bit stiff, but once pulled up the rest is very easy for a child to do. The only thing I think people should be aware of is that the wheels don't actually roll, that's easily fixed with some WD-40, but just so you know what to expect when you get them, that's exactly what I had Same problem with my skates when I was a kid of this brand. I don't know what it is but for some reason their wheels are terrible. Otherwise no complaints, excellent skates for beginners.
