Review on Youtheory Saffron Advanced with Rhodiola - 60 Count (1 Bottle) by Christopher Ward

Depression has been diagnosed most of my life. I have never taken any medication as I have been very active in my diet/exercise program to stabilize my mood. However, motherhood happened and my depression rose to a new level. Went on Zoloft at 35 (almost a year after giving birth) and was reminded why I hate meds for depression, I'm smiling but dead inside. It just seems to me that I was taking the meds to calm others down, because they hid what I really needed and my ability to get my needs met. It was important to me to find another solution. Started taking it about 3 months ago. I have (slowly and under doctor's supervision) reduced my Zoloft to 12.5mg in the morning and 1 of these pills in the afternoon (around 1:30am and instead of afternoon coffee). Big difference. My feelings are mine again, my sex drive is back to normal (finding the time is another story) and overall I feel stable. My goal is to stop Zoloft completely and up the dose with these saffron pills. For those who have trouble sleeping due to Rhodiola I would take 1 tablet in the morning and be gone.
