Review on 🚴 Fizik Argo Vento R5 Saddle: Unmatched Comfort and Performance for Cycling Enthusiasts by Ryan Huhn

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice saddle shape, slippery surface

I had a bit of a hard time finding a better place to put this saddle because it's a lot slippery on the bottom than anything else I've used before. It's a strange feeling that you don't get used to quickly. After about 40 miles and 5 adjustments I think I get it. It's a good shape for my butt (110mm seat bone, 150mm saddle size). This is the middle ground between a really short saddle, like a special power saddle, and a traditional saddle. The potential benefit is that you can use it to move a little more than a short nose. However, the lid is so slippery that I don't think that in practice it will allow me to stay in different positions (other than the optimal setting) for more than 30 seconds. Hopefully it will get stickier over time to take full advantage of the intermediate length. As usual for the brand, the build quality is good.
