Review on 🚪 Dorman 81970 Front Driver-Side Exterior Door Handle Reinforcement in Black, Suitable for Various Ford Models by Paul Zimmer

Looks like a decent product, but it doesn't have any of the 'upgrades', 'redesigns' or improved materials that Dorman is typically known for. All of the stress points look and feel identical to the factory design, including that cheap piece of die-cast aluminum that always breaks on them. This thing is very difficult to install, not because of Dorman, but because of Ford's incredibly poor design, which is the main reason these things break in the first place. If you're not mechanically savvy, I highly recommend having someone with experience install this.
