Review on XISEDO Mercedes Android Navigation Decoder by Marc Sortijas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product - really plug n play

I had to redo the stock suspension because the previous owner installed Kenwood in the shop. I found the required connectors on ebay. After redesigning the stock suspension, this head unit became truly plug and play on my 2011 SL550. So if you have an undamaged OEM suspension it's pretty easy. I think the installation was successful. Looks OEM. I added an Apple Car Play Dongle and connected it to the stock rear camera. The default camera required changing the settings from the factory, but this is easy to do. Steering wheel remote works great. I also bought a Y-shaped antenna cable so I can connect both the right and left side antennas. AM sucks - it used to be - that's because Mercedes has a dynamic filter in the antenna boosters that defaults to FM and won't switch to AM without a COMMAND block. I tried an external antenna and it helped a bit, but I'm not ruining my car with it! Very good device - I am satisfied. He tried to upload a longer video but failed :(. I also had to add how great the XISEDO support staff were. When I was restoring my OEM wiring harness in the car, I had questions about which wires to use for their device are required - Even before I bought the product they were very helpful and very quick to respond via email and whatsapp.
