Review on Kombucha Pickling Lab-Grade Precise Dispenser by Luke Hodes

I bought this to determine the pH of the jam I was canning. It seems to work fine, although I don't have a reference point to determine accuracy. I didn't want to go through the hassle of using a pH meter with the calibration and maintenance issues that come with it. The color breakdown seems to accurately set the pH to around 0.5, and the step count is clear enough that I'm comfortable with that. I felt that the 14-speed paper wasn't accurate enough, and that reduced range is perfect for my needs. The little door that the tape goes through can be problematic at times, but I think it just takes a bit of getting used to. I had to fish out the tape a few times. Overall I would say this is an inexpensive, fast acting and easy to use solution to get the pH in the advertised range.
