The replacement filter is as good as the OEM filter

A common problem with LG dishwashers and similar brands is the pump filter becoming clogged. The fine mesh screens allow very fine material to pass and collect in the pump inlets, slowing water movement during spray cycles. The dishes are not washed, the soap does not dissolve and can remain in the dispenser at the end of the wash cycle. It helps with this problem. This may not make the dishwasher work like new again, but it will definitely improve performance.
