Review on Chair Floor Protectors Square Furniture by Richard Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally a solution that works!

**Update: after 1.5 years they still work great. They remain in the chairs, but there is still a lot of felt. I needed to fix the chair seats today and was going to buy new footrests, but I realized this wasn't necessary. ** I tried several felt pads to protect the floor from the wooden legs of the chairs. Glue pads, attach pads to nails, Velcro pads. They call it. All fail quickly, especially in the kitchen where children are constantly spilling. After so many failures I was skeptical. Even after ten months, there still seems to be a lot of life in them. Of course you can see them, they are not invisible, but after the first day you don't even notice them. I'll sacrifice a little aesthetic to protect my floors. Boots rarely fall off when you lift a chair if you buy the right size, and most people slip on the chair anyway. If they fall off for any reason, just put them back on. This will be my go-to chair leg protection solution going forward. In fact, I'm online tonight to buy dining room chairs.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Good but not great
