I installed it the day it arrived. It mounts easily to a metal exterior door protected from the elements by a large overhanging roof. Visibility was excellent and I had high hopes that it would be an improvement over the old squeak which was a lot less and it stayed that way until the next day. During the night the humidity reached the dew point (this is Florida where it's always muggy) and the next morning condensation formed inside the lens (which is sealed) rendering the peephole unusable; I've tried blow drying it in the middle of the day but there is a distinct stain in the center of the lens that should be left behind. Now I have a big peephole that I can't use.
