I'm moving and needed to change the orientation of my fridge/freezer doors. Of all the screws, there was ONE that just wouldn't move from an ordinary screwdriver, pliers, or drill. In the end I gave up because I didn't want to damage the screw any more than I already had. I found these at Revain and decided to give it a try before using the screw extractor. I also bought a pack of wide rubber bands. I wrapped a rubber band around the screw and got to work. No luck at first but after about 3 minutes of trying it started to shift and then came out enough to use the drill bit without damaging the screw. That completely saved my ass! Do not forget to buy a set of wide rubber bands - without them the support will definitely not be enough. The pliers are intact so I can use them on other stubborn screws if I need them in the future.
