This is a good product if you want to split your guitar into two amps. The phase reversing switch helps with this. When using a passive source there is a slight change in sound on the side of the transformer which is isolated, but it's still quite usable and the addition of a buffer eliminates tonal changes entirely. However, a passive pickup is a very weak signal and the fact that you can have a passive device to separate and isolate the signal from ground makes it a very good product. Also very solidly built, roadworthy.
