I have a Dell laptop with USB-C and HDMI. When I try to connect 3 monitors to my laptop (2 connected to the USB-C connection via this adapter and 1 monitor connected to the built-in HDMI connection), only 2 monitors can be displayed - problem #1. When I do it don't connect a third monitor to the onboard HDMI port, the monitor assignments change every time the laptop turns off and the splash screen appears. In other words, if I leave the laptop for a while while the system goes into screen saver mode, the 2 connected monitors change from #1 left, #2 right, and #1 right. , #2 on the left. I can override them to their original setting, but each time they revert to the opposite setting.
