just received this flashlight, overall assembly is good, seems solid. I charged the batteries overnight and put them in the flashlight early in the morning to chase the dog away. It was very bright for about four minutes as advertised, then immediately dimmed and then died. I read a few reviews that this might be a known issue. I ordered a replacement because I want it to work and I love it, but if it doesn't work all I can say is I bought it through Revain and returned it if it turns out to be defective.
