Excellent value for money

Very impressed with the brightness and build quality of this flashlight. I just finished a night dive in Roatan and this light was better than my dive buds which cost 5x the price.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Please stop selling this as a dive light. You risk life.

Died 15 minutes after my first cave dive with it (always have a backup with you). The quality of this product is terrible and you are putting your life on the line by calling this a diving flashlight. .

give a second chance

just received this flashlight, overall assembly is good, seems solid. I charged the batteries overnight and put them in the flashlight early in the morning to chase the dog away. It was very bright for about four minutes as advertised, then immediately dimmed and then died. I read a few reviews that this might be a known issue. I ordered a replacement because I want it to work and I love it, but if it doesn't work all I can say is I bought it through Revain and returned it if it turns out to be

It will never let you down and the beam will give you everything you want.

We just got back from San Carlos, Mexico. I used this waterproof lantern to collect specimens for the Museum of Natural History in New Mexico. Day and night we collected paleontological and marine shells in the water. The flashlight worked great. At night, a powerful ray allowed me to collect shells and locate ancient shells with enough light to distinguish between modern and ancient shells. During the day, the light immensely in depth and in a shady place with a layer of rubble helped to findโ€ฆ

Sorry but I'm not impressed

It cost over fifty dollars and the quality just doesn't justify the cost. With just a few adjustments, it could be a lot more. Definitely not forty-eight hundred lumens. It's just not bright enough. I have flashlights with less light output that emit this brightness without any problems. LEDs and batteries without a name, without a brand, simply don't have what it takes to achieve the declared brightness. I was afraid to put it under water for fear it would fill up immediately. It's not even aโ€ฆ

good bright solid for diving and snorkeling

photos taken with no light caused flare in my camera lenses because they were so bright. Yes this is good. No, I haven't dived with it yet. I love flashlights and it's like holding a good car headlight in your hand. Big bright ray. Some splashes that illuminate the area and aren't focused enough to present a true blur. In other words, a well usable unregulated beam. Will highlight things in the block with no problem. Turning it on and off is via a slide switch, which I believe is magneticallyโ€ฆ

First Impression: Impressive (first review, to be continued)

This is an impressive device. Received it today and wanted to share my first impressions before taking it on a diving trip. This flashlight is slim, durable and BRIGHT. I put in two batteries, turned it on and my wife and I both said "WOW!" We used another model (Goldengulf Professional 100M Depth Scuba Diving Flashlight Cree L2 LED 1800 Lumen Torch) that we bought last year (two ) and with which we are very satisfied (see separate review). The seller contacted us to make sure we were happyโ€ฆ
