What happened to the US quality?
The blade on one side of the jaws protrudes further than the jaws. I had to write it down. Another small gap between the jaws to the end of the jaws. The fit and finish is poor. My guess is that they need to lower their labor costs to be price competitive with Taiwanese and Chinese tools. Less time spent on grinding, quality control, etc. My Tekton 8" needle nose pliers have a much better finish. They are made in Taiwan. I bought these Channellock needle nose pliers to replace a 50 year old Western Forge Master needle nose pliers. The spindle is in Totally loose in 50. They don't do them like that anymore.
