I almost never write reviews for what I buy from Revain. To be honest most things I get are what I expect. This was the first time I've bought a monitor scope unnoticed, and I was cautiously optimistic. The reviews were very good, so I took a chance. I'll admit I was nervous when I first connected it to my Macbook Pro 13". I plugged the USB-C cable that came with the display into my Macbook and voila. Unfortunately it was 30Hz and not 60Hz , and I could tell this difference Sometimes it connected at 60Hz, sometimes it connected at 30Hz. I did some more research. I ended up buying a good quality Anker USB drive-C to USB-C cable that solved this problem right away The cable the screen is very hard to read Honestly I thought there was a problem with the display Further research After reading some blog posts online I found that changing the display setting on SMPTE -C fixes this problem.This display, after I changed cable and display settings, is the nicest pair with my M akbook Pro!The colors are perfect, the display is clear, bright.I have no regrets and would not hesitate to more like this to buy The 4K LG-D isplay that Apple sells has only a diagonal of 22 inches. I'm shocked Apple doesn't have this option (although I'm happy too as I'm sure it will be more expensive). run, don't. Do not buy this display. Just be prepared to get a new USB-C cable when you need it and be sure to change your picture settings. I also learned another lesson: Thunderbolt 3 cables that are 18 inches long or shorter can work with USB-C, but are generally no longer. If you REALLY need a different cable, be sure to buy a TOP USB-C line cable, not a Thunderbolt cable. Many of you probably already know this, but there is a difference! I only have one complaint: the speakers really are that bad. My iPhone plays the best sound (no exaggeration). Just buy some good speakers. Honestly, after all the research I've done, there really isn't a perfect combination of good sound and good display unless you go for the ridiculously expensive LG Apple displays.
