It works, but the built-in Ethernet in this product interferes with the wireless mouse

I'm aware of the disclaimer that the USB 3.0 hub can interfere with the 2.4GHz mouse receivers in the product description. However, I plugged a USB Ethernet 3.0 adapter (from cable creation) into one of the three ports on this TP-Link hub, and I also plugged the mouse receiver into my Dell monitor, which then plugged into one of the two remaining Ports will be connected to the TP-Link hub. Link. And everything works great. My mouse doesn't lag when my monitor and laptop are directly connected. My mouse doesn't slow down when using Ethernet from a different USB to Ethernet cable. It only lags when I use ethernet from a TP-Link ethernet/usb hub adapter and a port on the hub. This may result in a lack of Ethernet device/device capability (failure to maintain a connection, causing the mouse to lag and reconnect every 30 seconds). If you want to use both Ethernet and a wireless mouse/keyboard I would not recommend this product. Better buy a cheaper 3-port USB 3.0 hub without ethernet features for less than half the price and buy a USB to ethernet adapter without additional features. Unfortunately, this method sacrifices a USB port, but the wireless mouse/keyboard works without lag. There may be a viable ethernet/USB hub combo adapter from another manufacturer, but I don't know of anything yet. The ports work fine individually, but not for my use case (wireless mouse).

Pros
  • . The compact and lightweight design makes the UE330 the perfect travel device.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
