Another great product from TP-Link!

This thing is awesome.! Just works GREAT with my multiple laptops/tablets! Specifically, my 2-in-1 PC/tablet that doesn't have an ethernet port to connect to - it really makes a big difference when I can't use a wifi connection and there's a wired/ethernet connection available or I need something faster than want to use a WiFi connection because I can download something? Also, it's really nice to be able to connect 1, 2 or 3 USB 3.0 drives to this particular dongle as I only have 1 USB 3.0 port

Pros
  • Plug and Play, works great with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10, Mac OS, Linux OS and Chrome OS devices, also compatible with Xbox, PS3/4, Raspberry Pi and more.
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

I'm aware of the disclaimer that the USB 3.0 hub can interfere with the 2.4GHz mouse receivers in the product description. However, I plugged a USB Ethernet 3.0 adapter (from cable creation) into one of the three ports on this TP-Link hub, and I also plugged the mouse receiver into my Dell monitor, which then plugged into one of the two remaining Ports will be connected to the TP-Link hub. Link. And everything works great. My mouse doesn't lag when my monitor and laptop are directly connected…

Pros
  • . The compact and lightweight design makes the UE330 the perfect travel device.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Good for Laptop/Chromebook Server, Slightly Warm, Small and Portable

I am currently using this with my C720 Chromebook which I use as a Debian server and before that I only bought a USB 3.0 network adapter but it was really hacky and dumb (3rd pic) so I have this one Bought the Hub and it's definitely better than anything I've had before. I would say this adapter/hub is great for turning old Chromebooks or just any Chromebook/Laptop that doesn't have an Ethernet port or almost no USB ports into a Linux server for file sharing or even a Minecraft server want to…

Pros
  • Does USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet allow you to flip your laptop? S USB port to RJ45 Ethernet port for stable network connection.
Cons
  • Security

Definitely not plug and play on Mac and no clear instructions are given.

The MacBook Air was definitely not plug and play. Luckily I'm a bit computer savvy so I figured out the setup in half an hour of fiddling around. But first let me say that my MacBook is a bit old (a few years for example) so I definitely had to install the driver manually. Unfortunately, you still have to set up the driver yourself after installing it, and TP-Link didn't provide clear enough instructions. So if you're using a Mac like me, first install the drivers over WiFi (DO NOT LEAVE HOME).

Pros
  • From a trusted brand: TP Link #1 in the world? Ranked #1 in WiFi products for the last 7 years in a row by IDC. In 2017.
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
