This is a great product, but not just for boats. In fact, I don't own a boat at all, but I do have translucent fiberglass panels covering the backyard. After several seasons of accumulated leaves, bird droppings, dirt and rain - all baked to a thick black residue in over 100 degrees over many days - sunlight barely penetrated the patio. I decided to clean the panels myself by climbing onto the roof, spraying the surface of the fiberglass panels and going to town with a Star Brite retractable brush. It took some effort and some time, but I was able to break through the stump. Now the sun's rays penetrate through the panels. This is a good product with many uses.
