Good reel but guide hose is too short

The Himimi Retractable Air Hose Reel is just what I need to keep my air hose organized and always ready for use when needed. My 50ft air hose used to be just twisted into a loop and laid on the floor. Whenever I needed it, I had to turn it far enough to get into the garage. When it was done, it had to be looped again. I've wanted to buy a hose reel for a long time to make this job easier. This coil is ready for wall or ceiling mounting. The kit includes wall anchors that can be used for installation. I suggest mounting it on a stud as there is quite a bit of force on the coil during use and I would never trust wall anchors. The support bracket is heavy enough to hold well. The body of the reel is made of thick, durable plastic and is well made. The mount's attachment point also appears to be plastic, so I'm hoping it will last. Air hose connectors are not included as I would normally expect with an air hose. I am disappointed with the length of the lead hose. This is too small for practical use. If your compressor is a floor model, it cannot be connected to the drum if it is installed at an acceptable height above the ground. I had to hook up a spare line hose I had between the compressor and the roller line hose to make the connection. If you have a stand alone compressor, then most likely you have enough connecting hose. The coil is easy to work with. Once the hose is pulled out, a locking mechanism prevents the hose from being pulled back. You can pull it out further and it will lock at that length every time. The longer the hose is stretched, the harder it is to pull as you are working against the spring. To retract, pull the hose slightly, release the latch and it retracts. You must hold the hose to prevent it from hanging down and damaging the reel. If you don't deflate the hose before retracting, it will not retract fully. This is because the hose expands under air pressure and takes up too much space in the drum when it is wound up.
