The compressor was well packaged, the horns were not very good. After examining a few small dents on the horns, I found that they were mostly made of very thin (super soft) material, maybe even copper, and then covered in the thinnest layer of chrome I've ever seen. Please do not purchase this item if you are going for the chic factor, you will be disappointed. I'm only interested in the sound level coming from the grille, not the nano layer of chrome, if you can call it that. I upgraded the supplied clear nylon aquarium tubing to 3/8" nylon tubing and right angle shark fittings, not to mention the 1/8" stuff wouldn't work, I had my reasons. Overall I expected that for the price. I installed an alarm last weekend. I recommend testing the device before installation. It's much easier to solve problems. The installation went as expected, I ended up spending more time troubleshooting the factory wiring on my RV than installing horns, but that's another story. Super loud, good tone, not as loud as a real train but nice try at sounding like one. I feel like I can hold on to the turning circle now, at least from people who don't know how to use them. I would recommend.
