DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! IT'S NOT SAFE! I have included some photos for this review to show what I mean. I got this because I recently became disabled and confined to a wheelchair. I need some help, more stability getting in and out. This is what this product was advertised for. It was only the second time I've used it and it broke trying to transfer from the car to the wheelchair. I fell, to put it nicely, with more than a few words of choice on the way down! Well if it breaks like it did with an older, weaker person I'm sorry but I'm afraid they could break a wrist or hip or fall and make it worse. And I know firsthand how something like that can be the gateway to more problems, yes, something as simple as breaking this thing, causing a domino effect. Finally, please do not buy this, your safety may be at risk!
