The mounting screws provided were not good. Were they stainless steel? They were shiny rather than black and of the single-headed bugle type (for recessed use). Install bugle head, then flat washer, then flat bracket into countersunk holes. The screws in photo #1 are included. The type of screw originally used in photo #2. Recessed holes and the screws that were on top had to undercut the screw to remove the washer so it was long enough to reach a couple of threads. Someone didn't do their homework. Two ratings for easy installation due to the extra effort to get the job done.
