I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and I really like them. They're a bit chunky, but I like that they say "Since 1941." I like that the size also allows for a variety of mounting options. I could adjust the placement of my lights if needed. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because one of the screws that came with the kit didn't fit me. So I had to use a dremel, remove the washer from the factory bolt and use that. It worked. But now I have 3 silver screws and one black factory screw…

Problem I have, apart from one of the pre-drilled holes on each bracket not lining up exactly, they shorted out the vital screws I needed to assemble. I was very specific and made sure I ordered correctly to fit my jeep model/make. I received some screws but not enough to properly screw them to the jeep body. Needless to say I am very disappointed now having to go to a hardware store and find the right bolts to securely attach this to my jeep. Aside from those two things, it seems to be working

The mounting screws provided were not good. Were they stainless steel? They were shiny rather than black and of the single-headed bugle type (for recessed use). Install bugle head, then flat washer, then flat bracket into countersunk holes. The screws in photo #1 are included. The type of screw originally used in photo #2. Good looking and appears to be solid steel. Several things keep it from being a 5 star product. It would be preferable if the same hex key was used for both screws provided. Although it would be ideal for the screws to be the same size Torx used from the factory. This allows you to use the included factory tool kit if you need to tighten or remove the mounting plate. Could easily be 5/5 stars; But like other reviews, the hardware that came with it was terrible. A quick trip to Lowe and I was set, but had to look for additional parts to fit this to my Jeep. I am VERY disappointed with this product. The plates are decent but I've heard they rust easily so I decided to polish them at some point. But when I got it I wanted to install it and you CANNOT install it with the hardware that came with it. The silicone washers fall right into the holes in the Jeep's hood, the panel will scratch the paint, and the hardware isn't even black to match (and they don't have Torx to match the screws they replace, so you can customize your Jeep -Tool can use kit)…
