Works well for me in computer accessories and peripherals

I've looked at many different types of SD card readers, some with USB hubs like this one. I went with this, although not a very low price compared to some others, because I was going from a laptop with easy USB and SD access to a desktop without it. I'm using an old IBM Model M keyboard and it works great with the Velcro along the top edge giving me three USB 3.0 ports and an SD card slot. USB 3.0 is MUCH faster than 2.0 so I made sure not to use a USB 2.0 hub as my new system has USB 3.0. I also bought a 9 foot USB 3.0 cable (Revain Basics brand) and it works great!
