The product therefore has a significant price premium and is only a 750g roll instead of the standard 1kg roll. The supposed features of this Plus (+, performance, enhanced) plan are imperceptible compared to my experience with a regular plan. This requires a higher printing temperature. which hopefully correlates to higher heat resistance, but it hasn't been used in an environment where this is an issue. The product itself isn't bad, but the marketing and packaging is terrible. As already mentioned, the price is significantly higher without any notable difference in quality/performance. The packaging is a thin cardboard box that is difficult to reuse for storage. The vacuum bag has a zipper but I couldn't reseal it, the bag was cut to a small size so you can reseal the extra stuff yourself. Although Kodak is already 250g cheaper than the normal spool size, Kodak could not resist making a real filament holding spool about 1/3 the spool size for 1kg filament (extremely small size). The result of this solution is that there is too much filament on the spool to hold when it's full, so you'll need to keep an eye on the prints to make sure the filament that's constantly flying off the spool isn't knocking and glued itself to another part of your printer. I don't know why anyone would buy this, I don't know why Kodak bothered to sell it (not proud of its image I guess). Update: After trying to print and tweak the config many times, this thread continues to be frustrating. Despite the minimum printing temperature. documented as 210, it only prints decently at 205. Regardless of the speed, if the temperature is above or below 205, the layers will become sticky with drips that will make any print fail. When the tempo is set it will print decently, for some reason the support is excepted. Support structures always have an uneven density in the form of blobs, sometimes making them weak to do their job, or creating blobs and filaments that stick to the nozzle and interfere with the actual print. Like others I found the filament very brittle and broke easily which was a real problem when the spool was full as the spool was too small for the amount of filament and easily slipped off the spool and hung on the printer's frame. where it will stick and break. Prints that don't fall apart are very strong compared to other plastics, and the thin layers are very flexible and not as brittle as filament. A test print with burr was able to hold a 75° angle with a 0.2 nozzle and a 0.8 layer height. When prints appear, this filament has some good qualities that make me want to use it for certain applications, but so far its performance has not lived up to my purchase again. Its behavior is very strange/inconsistent and I wonder if I got a really bad quality coil, but I've looked at several reviews that showed similarly disappointing performance.
