Purchased to remove loose strands of hair from carpet so they don't clog the vacuum cleaner. But I didn't want to buy small pet hair brushes and get on my knees to comb the floor. I have long hair, over 12 inches long, and it goes everywhere. Our carpet in the apartment has a vertically wavy texture, so I found it much easier to pick up the hairs with the brush head and comb them in the same vertical direction as the wavy texture. I picked up my hair faster than I expected without having to lay on the floor and only picked up my hair at the end. Balls by throwing them in the trash can.
