I haven't painted for a long, long time. travel sketches. I also liked that the book was sealed. This is good for a small watercolor sketchbook to take with you on the go. It fits snugly in my travel bag along with watercolor palettes, brushes, pens and pencils. There are only 15 sheets of 4" x 6" so filling in the pages is not a daunting task. The texture of the paper is nice (cold press) and has some weight, the paper does not withstand much water; it starts to deform. So if you like working wet on wet, be careful. Although this is a pad book, I would like the paper to be glued on all sides due to paper warping and some of my sheets will stand up straight. All in all I would buy another one.
