An easy way to fix them would make a world of difference. It's also potentially dangerous. The padding on the bottom seems to be holding up well. Block size is convenient, easy to move 2x4 and x6 different lengths. Overall it's a good product but the "automatic heel retraction technology" is a pain as it automatically retracts midway through the incision/joint. I would have liked a detectable heel. I'm torn between 3 or 4 stars as it's such a big con.
