If your velcro truck roll up cover is falling apart, this kit will do the job! I don't know what the truck body cover is made of, but it's thick! You must use pliers to push each stitch through! You'll definitely break a pin or two, but you probably bought this because you didn't want to pay someone to fix it, and that's the only ten bucks you'll pay! I'm not sure why the "thread" doesn't even go through the eye of the needle, but maybe if you remove the wax it will make it through. I don't know much about sewing, but if you're looking for an inexpensive product that will likely come in handy at least once in your life, give this a try. The worst that can happen is that you get frustrated, stop fixing it and go to a reputable shop to get the job done.
