Review on Garmin Approach G80: Premium GPS Golf Handheld + Integrated Launch Monitor by Rushabh Gonsales

I never normally write product reviews, good or bad, but I feel a commitment to this product. Very few reviews when I bought earlier this month. This is a great product and does exactly what it promises. However, if you use the radar function (stick and ball measurement data) to practice your shots, this device will overheat and shut down within 15 minutes. You have to wait for it to cool down before you can use it again. Once it overheats, it will happen earlier and earlier during the same workout. I live in Phoenix and have used it in 42 degree and 75 degree weather. At the same time, regardless of the air temperature, it overheats. I suspect the problem is ultraviolet sunlight. I don't have the ability to use it in a shaded area in my club. In general, it does exactly what the manufacturer promises. However, I strongly recommend not purchasing this product until the overheating issue is resolved. I'll try to get mine back now. I hope this is helpful.
