Great kettle. Perfect for my needs. I chose the larger capacity (1.2L) because I usually have a hard time rinsing out the paper filter and heating the carafe and mug. The increased water volume means I don't have to worry about running out of water when watering. The kettle itself is of excellent quality, the ergonomics are top, the spout angle is perfect. I've read reports of rust and pitting. Only time will tell how the kettle will hold up to everyday use. I will update this review if I notice rust. My previous kettle lasted a good 7 years before the handle broke. But it didn't rust. If you've had rust issues with your other kettles in the past, may I suggest? After watering, remember to empty the kettle by turning it upside down in the sink. You will probably find that there is still some water in the kettle. I do NOT close the lid immediately. Instead, I put the empty kettle on the stove (which is off...and still warm). This will quickly evaporate the small amount of water left in the kettle.
