Took me about 20-25 minutes to assemble. My back hurt a bit trying to lift the tent to fit the beams into the slots, but it was possible. Not heavy when lifting to place in the bed of a truck. I have a 5'7" bed and it fits perfectly. I found a happy medium and started to fix it, easy as well. Just as easy to detach again and pack in carry-on luggage. This was just for testing.. .I'll update when I go camping.UPDATE: A few weeks ago I finally got to use it.I know it stands waterproof but just in case I sprayed it with one of those cans of caulk.Again, putting it together was pretty easy .I bought a fan and a double air mattress and everything was perfect;I slept very well.The next morning it rained lightly,not too much but there wasn't a drop of water in it.It probably helped that I sprayed it. In general, we will definitely crash somewhere soon.
