Same as what is: a piece of plastic running through the car. I like the half-car approach versus the hassle of a full car (I wanted to cover both the sunroof and windshield). I gave it a few stars because: * the straps aren't that stretchy; I was expecting them to be more stretchy (like bungee cords) to hold tight upwind rather than being flexible in some areas and not reaching enough in other areas. Where it was too loose, I folded it on its own and used a binding clip to make it tighter. That's why it lost two stars. * Leaks covering one of the mirrors (full car size I got from another manufacturer also leaks for one of the mirrors; probably hard not to leak if you laid out the seam horizontally). It would not be enough to lose a whole star since it is so insignificant. I didn't call him about it, but it doesn't fit the width of my 2016 Honda Fit: if it fits on one of the mirrors (including the mirror with the mirror folded), then the car is about 2-3 inches tall wider and reaches the others mirror not.
