My portable air compressor cigarette lighter adapter fell apart in my hands (probably after so many uses and years of mishandling) so I needed a replacement. I was surprised when I received this and it came with extra lead metal tips, plastic covers and two extra fuses. I cut the broken adapter out of my compressor and soldered the extra metal wires to the exposed cable. I ended up using black shrink wrap instead of the clear protectors that come with the kit. The new cigarette lighter adapter looks heavier and much better than the old one, plus it has a status light. This is a great product and a great price. Ideal for replacing a broken adapter or adding a new one to a bare cable.
