HARD SELLER for gas cap

1 year warranty? The seller is now telling me that after 6 months I need to diagnose what is wrong with the quality of the goods. Only my dash warning is flashing TIGHTEN THE FUEL CAP which I have done many times. I don't have a testing lab to figure out what's going on, what's going on with the seller. I contacted the seller several times to solve the same problem
