Review on Prevue Hendryx SP1720 1 Shanghai Parakeet by Jim Viswanadham

It was light weight, the top came off fairly easily but stayed secure when worn by the top handle. I used it for a costume; no real bird has ever entered the charming dwelling. It would have been better if the top was even easier to detach and reattach the way storage bins use these snap handles, but I can't deny how strong this piece was when attached. I attached the bottom as I'm pretty sure it's not meant to be carried on my back to a crowded 3 day convention or for parade dancing. Can you imagine if the floor fell out during the parade? Yes. Here's a bird skin bed with miniature pillows and on it an animatronic songbird being crushed by the tuba players marching behind me. So yes, I routed extra cables around the base. My only complaint is that the top grip needs to be wider. The thin wire will cut into your hand if you try to carry it with your bare hands. I had to borrow a hotel towel to line the handle.
