I like the fact that you get instructions with options for connecting this rear camera. I had a problem with this product's monitor malfunctioning and contacted the seller named Fiona. She was quick to respond and after asking a few questions I was offered not just a replacement monitor but a whole new set. Fiona is very customer oriented and has shown the highest quality I have ever experienced. So I say to the person reading this, don't think twice about buying from the seller/Fiona. On one side, notice the white wire that looks like a loop. It's for lines that help with distance between objects when reversing. Don't cut unless you're absolutely sure you won't need it. . I do not recommend cutting. I chose to connect to the reversing light, this option turns on the camera only when the car is reversing. and black on the ground wire. This cable had a black end with a female connector that then connected to my camera's red cable. The following cable has a yellow RCA connector to transmit video from the camera to the monitor. The cable also has a red wire attached to both ends. I connect this red wire to the same reverse light positive wire that is now used to power my monitor. I then connected the second connector the same way as the one used to power the rear camera. The red wire from my video cable goes to the red from the black connector and the black wire is grounded to my car's chassis/metal. I have now completed my application by connecting the black connector to my monitor, the red RCA connector and the yellow to yellow. I didn't use the white connector and that's how I wired my system.
