I like this type of measuring device. Ranges can be set, which I prefer to autoranging. If I want to measure a few volts or a few kohms, it's good to know that the range won't change to millivolts or ohms on a whim. It's small but durable. I bought this to replace an almost identical unit I had for over a decade and it proved very reliable until we tried testing the resistance to earth on a wire powered at 115V! I recommend this product as the main item in the toolbox.
