The (inner) plastic bracket on the door of my 1995 Lance broke and I've only replaced it so far. (I ordered the 4" wrong instead of the 6" version, the plastic tee is still good and I didn't want to bend the new tee). about 1/8 inch. After drilling out the old rivets and removing the old sealant, I masked and patched the three holes with JBWeld strokes and re-drilled them. I used 3/16" and 1/4" rivets with some silicone sealant to install the new latch. Please note that the old plastic stick is about 6 inches long and the product is about 4 inches long. Unless you (specifically) order the correct length, you will need to modify the door bumper (besides creating enough clearance for a wheel fender, for example).
