Review on SainSmart Dissolvable Printers Filament Natural: Unleashing Advanced 3D Printing by Carlos Barete

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Detaches very easily, works like magic with the right PLA (WILL NOT WORK WITH ALL PLA!)

Didn't even have to go along Being dissolved in water it separates from PLA so easily (stays solid during printing) that it is an ideal material for printing on substrates. Although I had to increase the temperature of the extruder to 190, let's hope it doesn't feel like others in the Extruder degrades EDIT: I've done a few more prints with this PVA and I have to say I'm even happier than before, it's firm enough to serve as a support but still peels off very easily after printing. And if the support structure is too fused to the print to just pull it out, you can just cut it with an Xacto knife or melt it in warm water. And oh, it melts so easily! I put my ab press in warm water and in less than 30 seconds the whole structure melts, the only question is what to do with the dirty water, I'm afraid it might clog the pipes if I just dump the garbage down the drain, but it should dissolve in water right? So most likely not a problem. Update: I'm on my second roll and I still think it's magic for supports. Because it's flexible, you can detach 99% of the supports without damaging the print, and the rest can be dissolved in water in minutes. No issues with temperature or moisture absorption (although at the speed I use these rollers they don't have much time to absorb moisture). New update: I tried another PLA brand and now I know what others mean by their negative reviews. DO NOT STAY AT ALL! But I stand by my original review, as if you use it with the right PLA (PLA Pro or PLA+ in my case), it's magic. I recommend you to buy PLA Pro and this thing if you print objects with complex supports.
